The Imam Hussein Holy Shrine architects and Bayt El-Mermer Construction Company have achieved 70% of the Pilgrims Complex project. The project is located on Baghdad-Karbal road, 8 KM from Karbala city.
The project covers 22 acres. It will have 6 buildings; each one of them is consisted of 5 stories, a 2 story dining hall, 8 halls, and a clinic.
The total cost of the whole project is approximately 45 million dollars.
